Facebook releases their version of Retweet

Facebook now have a similar version of Twitter's Retweet service. This is not instantly noticeable, as it does not apply to status updates. Instead it applies to the links that they have posted to their Facebook friends.

When people post links on their profile, there will be a small clickable blue text called 'Share' at the bottom of their post. When clicked, it will reveal the window in the image above. The Estate Agent then has a chance to type in their chosen message and share it with contacts of their choice.

Allowing Facebook users to share links in this way has attracted some positive feedback, Troy Stanley, CTO of Resource Techniques comments, 'This will be beneficial towards Estate Agents that use Facebook in their online strategy. Property searchers will now be able to share a potential property with their friends and ask them for their views and opinions.'
