The Recovery of the Property Market

hand holding a model version of a houseIn the opinion of the Property Investors Network (CIN ) the slowdown experienced by the UK 's housing market will not last forever.

Founder Simon Zutishi notes that " People keep coming to the country, immigration, increasing population, changing social demographic trends, long - term prices will go up again but it's not going to happen in the next year or two."

Last year the government launched a Housing Green Paper, where by plans to build three million new homes by 2020 were laid out.

Mr Zutshi also feels that the demand for housing is not going to be met by supply.

If you look at the statistics, the government say we need three million houses by 2020 - we're only building 175,000 a year at the moment, if we need three million in the next twelve years we need 250,000 a year, so we are not going to have enough accommodation.
