30 August, 2017 | Technology
Apple has supposedly set a date for the unveiling of the highly anticipated iPhone 8 and that date is the 12th September.
This was reported by the Wall Street Journal citing sources who are aware of Apple’s plans…
Apple’s annual event has become one of the biggest events in the tech world and usually unveils Apple’s latest hardware.
Rumours have been floating around for quite a while that the event will be held on the 12th September so it does seem likely that this is the correct date.
Although, Apple is yet to send out invitations or confirm that the 12th September is the date of the event.
This year marks the 10th year anniversary of the original iPhone debut, so we expect Apple will be pulling out all the stops for this year’s iPhone release and if rumours are true, we can expect to see three new iPhones this summer.
We can also expect to see Tim Cook take the stage to unveil the iPhone 8, a new Apple Watch and a 4K Apple TV.
It will be exciting to see what Apple has up their sleeves for this year’s event, and what they believe will keep their dominance within the phone market and what new features they will pack into the iPhone 8 when it is announced next month!
