Smartphone With 50 Day Battery Life

The Mobile World Congress 2019 (MWC 2019) has showcased some particularly unique and creative devices this year with a number of them making headlines with the key talking points being around foldable phones and 5G. However, an unlikely contestant may have trumped them all.

Energizer, the battery manufacturer, unveiled its massively thick mobile with an 18,000mAh battery! To put that into comparison, the iPhone XS only has a 2,658mAh battery…

The phone called the Energizer Power Max P18K Pop has been marketed as the phone “with the most powerful battery on the market”.

The phone in standby mode can last up to 50 days but Energizer says that you’ll be able to watch videos continuously for around 2 days off a single charge, make 90 hours of calls or listen to up to 100 hours of music.

And that’s not all, you will be able to use the device as a power bank to charge up other devices too.

All of this however comes with one noticeable setback, it’s roughly 18mm thick! That’s around 3 times thicker than the latest iPhone.

However, according to the latest hands on reports, it’s actually not a terrible phone, with little bezels, no notches, a camera that pops out of the side, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and Android 9. It also has fast charging, which supposedly only take 8 hours to fully charge.

Energizer Power Max P18K Pop will launch at some point this summer, and once released it will be the phone with the biggest battery in the world!
