Samsung's colossal Galaxy View tablet

 

It looks like Samsung are about out do Apple’s 12.9 inch iPad Pro with the absolutely massive Samsung Galaxy View tablet.  

Samsung teased the Galaxy View tablet a few months ago which has led to many rumours regarding the specs of this huge tablet.

More rumours have now been leaked suggesting the Galaxy View tablet will be an incredible 18.4 inches. A price tag has also been leaked with prices starting at $599 (around £400) although a UK price will likely be higher.

According to sources, the Galaxy View will have a 1080 pixel display, and although this may seem quite low for such a massive screen Samsung’s promotional materials so far show the Galaxy View being used as a portable TV, so from a few feet away it is likely to look a bit sharper.

The Galaxy View is expected to have an octa-core Exynos 7580 processor running at 1.6 GHz, with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage - and microSD support up to 128GB. It will run Android Lollipop, and while this version says it's Wi-Fi only, a previous leak shows a 4G LTE version as well.

The tablet has been reported to go on sale in black and white options and although we don’t have an official release date, considering the release of the Apple iPad Pro and Christmas just around the corner we expect it to be out pretty soon!
