Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Leaked?

A tweet from @SamsungExynos shared a photo of their Exynos 8896 mobile processor flaunting the chip, but the chip itself isn’t what’s getting the internet buzzing.

The phone in the image however is causing a lot of uproar.

The smartphone displayed in the image doesn’t appear to be the Galaxy S8, which has led many to believe that the company has accidently leaked the up and coming Galaxy Note 8.

The picture of the smartphone doesn’t give much away apart from the very tall looking screen which could be the rumoured Infinity Display.

The tweet was removed by Samsung shortly after it was posted online.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 isn’t set to be unveiled until late August. Samsung’s Mobile chief DJ Koh confirmed in an interview that the announcement will come at the end of next month.

In the interview he didn’t confirm an exact date but it is expected to be launched on the 23rd August, meaning it will beat Apple’s iPhone announcement which will supposedly take place in September.

The Galaxy Note 8 is a very important device for Samsung and their fans as the Note 7 was pulled from the market shortly after reports that devices around the world were overheating or exploding.

The next generation Galaxy Note is rumoured to have a 6.3 inch screen, dual rear camera, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB of ram and a 3,300mAh battery.

This isn’t the first time Samsung has accidently revealed one of their new devices. Premature reveals have included the Galaxy S8+ and the Bixby name which accorded earlier this year.
