Ian Penman - Chairman

Ian is the Chairman of the Company, having worked in IT for over 30 years. Ian also runs another successful company, TimePlan Education, the largest teacher supply resource in London. Ian has 2 daughters and lives in Hertfordshire.

Nigel Trickey - Managing Director

Nigel began his career in Estate Agency in 1982 and soon developed an interest in computing. He joined forces with co-director Ian Penman in April 1989 and was instrumental in developing software and communications modules for release to team agents in 1990. Nigel is married to Linda and they have a son, Daniel.

Troy Stanley - Technical Director

As Chief Technical Officer and Director of Operations at RT (Resource Techniques), Troy Stanley directs both the company's day to day running as well as being responsible for the businesses R&D (Research and Development) portfolio, with an eye toward modern website design techniques, usability, innovation and legitimate SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) methodology.

Trudie Woods - Web Services Account Manager

Having joined Resource Techniques in January 2002, Trudie's hard work and dedication to customer service and her interest in design and technology was rewarded in 2006 being promoted to her current role within our fast growing Web services business. Trudie now manages the production of web sites from initial build to completion as well as on going maintenance.

Outside of work Trudie enjoys keeping fit by going to the gym several times a week, Salsa classes and Socializing at the weekends!

Holly Copus - Technical Support

Holly joined RT in February 2003 as the company receptionist. It didn't take long for her to demonstrate a keen enthusiasm toward customer support and technology which saw her more into a technical support role. Holly now talks with customers on a daily basis, offering support and advice on the use of our products including creating and developing HTML marketing.

Silvia Solcova - Web Services Support

Silvia joined RT in September 2006 after working for an internet café where she maintained and supported the networks. After working on reception for just over a year, she gained the knowledge and skills to provide full support for all the web services team. She is able to help on all queries relating to datafeeds, property portals and websites.

In her free time she likes to potter in the garden, meet friends and test the ski slopes!

Maureen Copus - Receptionist

Maureen joined our team in February 2008 as our new office administrator. Maureen will be the first point of contact for dealing with your queries and is keen to help ensure you receive a great service from RT.

Whilst not working, Maureen likes to dance, paint and enjoy the precious things in life.

Bryn Phillips - Project Manager

Bryn joined RT in 2001, initially as a software trainer. Two years later, he took a different direction and began focusing on software development. Bryn currently takes responsibility for ensuring a reliable IT infrastructure at RT's offices, whilst giving ongoing in-house consultation in the depths of software methodology and development.

Outside work, Bryn spends many hours honing his musical skills, and is a proficient guitarist and violinist with over 20 years' experience.

James Ellis - Application Support

James has been at RT since 2000 and thus commands a great deal of knowledge when it comes to the software package. He is always happy to answer any question however large or small, whether technical or help getting the most out of the application. Having worked in agency for over 5 years, including a spell with North London TEAM agents Prickett & Ellis, James knows what agents want from the software.

James enjoys regularly going to watch the (almost) all conquering Arsenal as well as cycling & swimming.

Rui Wu - Systems Administrator

Rui has an MSc in Information Systems from the University of Liverpool. His role within the company includes optimizing and maintenance of the internal office network of the, Performing security testing and vulnerability analysis of new and existing systems as well as providing software and hardware support.

He is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese and his Interests outside of work are Football, movies and music.

Colin Chaffer - Business Account Manager

Colin has worked as an Estate Agent for fifteen years. During this time he worked both as an independent agent and for one of the corporate companies – Prudential Property Services. It was whilst with Prudential that Colin took on the role of Computer Trainer. Colin joined Resource Techniques in 1998 and has enjoyed various roles including training, business development and website management.

Peter Brunt - Business Account Manager

Peter has been in estate agency since 1979 and has experience of both the independent and corporate estate agency sectors. He also ran is own agency in Bristol prior to joining Resource Techniques in 2001. His role encompasses software installation, training, sales and account management. He has been the Chairman of The Bristol and Bath NAEA since 1995. Peters partner Jayne is also in estate agency and between them have five children.

His hobbies include tinkering with computers and DIY.

Andy Claridge - Business Account Manager (Web Services)

Andy assists both new and existing customers on suitable web products & services for their online business strategy, with a particular focus on individual web site solutions. His background is in H.R. estate agency and I.T. He worked for many years as an estate agent in Somerset, prior to joining Resource Techniques in 2005. He is currently studying for CIW certification.

In his spare time, Andy's interests include the country, DIY and ballroom dancing.

Dean Webb – Business Account Manager

Dean Webb is an experienced Account Manager who has a genuine passion for sales & Technology.

Dean’s career started in Estate Agency where he built up 10 successful years of experience, working around North London & Hertfordshire. His career took a change in direction a number of years ago when he accepted a job working for an international IT company as an Account Manager.

James Coyne – eMarketing and Social Media Consultant

James has a BA(hons) in Business Management from Liverpool John Moores University. He is currently studying evening courses for a Marketing Diploma under the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM). He joined RT in April 2009 as a Junior Sales and Marketing Consultant.

James’ hobbies include watching Watford FC lose, practicing Fujian White Crane Kung Fu, watching films, reading and socialising.

Luke Stanley – SEO Consultant

Luke Stanley joined Resource Techniques in February 2010 as a SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) Consultant, having studied Business and Internet Technology at the University of West England. Luke is responsible for technical strategy and ongoing development of both SEO and PPC (Pay Per Click) campaigns here at RT.

SEO is a fast, ever changing business with huge competition for the prime real estate of Google’s organic and paid search results.

Paolo De Luca - Front-end Engineer

Paolo joined RT in 2008 after moving from Italy to London in 2006 to complete his studies and undertake new challenges in his career.
He has a MSc in Multimedia Systems from the London Metropolitan University and an addiction to Cocoa (the framework).

In his spare time he enjoys time with friends, eating sushi and being a mac geek.

Leszek Domagala - Web Designer.

Leszek joined RT in 2008. Leszek has been working in IT and the advertising industry for 10 years. He believes that sharp, good looking web sites with clear functionality is always the aim and that there is no better fun than creation.

After hours Leszek enjoys exploring the local area on his bicycle.

Ian Jones - Developer

Ian joined RT in 2008 from working for one of the big four in the city. He has a 2.1 degree in Computer Science from Reading University. Ian is passionate about technology, concentrating on C#, ASP.NET and WinForms, and starting to master Flex, Scriptaculous and ASP.NET MVC.

Outside of work Ian likes watching Tottenham Hotspur, walking in the country, and cycling.

Andrzej Czarkowski - Developer

Andrzej joined RT in September 2008. He has worked in IT industry in various areas since 2001, after graduating from Technical University in Czestochowa in Poland. Andrzej has a real interest in the .NET framework and especially likes programming in the C# language.

In his spare time he enjoys watching a good movie, travelling and reading comic books.

Majid Housseini - Developer

Majid has been working for RT quite awhile. His main responsibilities include development of our core server software and client programs such as Rescom.

Shamul Rohman - Developer

Shamul joined RT in May 2009 as a developer, part of our teamworks v6 project team, he studied at UCL and graduated with a MEng in Electronic Engineering. The love of programming/computing grew from there working on both hardware and software for Bluetooth and Microchips, moving on to .Net and C# programming from there.

He gained further experience implementing NHibernate for the current teamworks project and can’t wait to try his hand at MVC on the next big project.
