Ian Penman - Chairman

Ian is the Chairman of the Company, having worked in IT for over 30 years. Ian also runs another successful company, TimePlan Education, the largest teacher supply resource in London. Ian has 2 daughters and lives in Hertfordshire.

Nigel Trickey - Managing Director

Nigel began his career in Estate Agency in 1982 and soon developed an interest in computing. He joined forces with co-director Ian Penman in April 1989 and was instrumental in developing software and communications modules for release to team agents in 1990. Nigel is married to Linda and they have a son, Daniel.

Troy Stanley - Technical Director

As Chief Technical Officer and Director of Operations at RT (Resource Techniques), Troy Stanley directs both the company's day to day running as well as being responsible for the businesses R&D (Research and Development) portfolio, with an eye toward modern website design techniques, usability, innovation and legitimate SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) methodology.

Trudie Woods - Web Services Account Manager

Having joined Resource Techniques in January 2002, Trudie's hard work and dedication to customer service and her interest in design and technology was rewarded in 2006 being promoted to her current role within our fast growing Web services business. Trudie now manages the production of web sites from initial build to completion as well as overseeing ongoing maintenance and development.

Outside of work Trudie enjoys keeping fit by going to the gym and running several times a week, spending time with great friends, eating good foods, and visiting new places.

Holly Copus - Technical Support

Holly has been working with RT since 2003 and works in our technical department. She is one of the main technicians for all customers for support on all our applications. Holly is also heavily involved in e-marketing with creating and developing electronic media.

She enjoys studying the theoretical foundations of information and computation of practical techniques for their implementation and application in computer systems.

Silvia Solcova - Web Services Support

Silvia joined RT in September 2006 after working for an internet café where she maintained and supported the networks. After working on reception for just over a year, she gained the knowledge and skills to provide full support for all the web services team. She is able to help on all queries relating to datafeeds, property portals and websites.

In her free time she likes to potter in the garden, meet friends and test the ski slopes!

Tanya Cunnningham - Receptionist/Administrator

Tanya joined RT as our Receptionist/Administrator in June 2011 and is excited to be entering a new phase in her life. Tanya moved to the UK from South Africa in 2002 with her family and has never looked back! She loves a challenge and enjoys doing new things.

Outside of work, (when not playing taxi driver to her 2 children), she loves seeing friends, beekeeping, pretending her allotment is a 500acre farm, watching movies, eating a good meal, riding her motorbike and is desperate to get into horse-riding.

James Ellis - Application Support

James has been at RT since 2000 and thus commands a great deal of knowledge when it comes to the software package. He is always happy to answer any question however large or small, whether technical or help getting the most out of the application. Having worked in agency for over 5 years, including a spell with North London TEAM agents Prickett & Ellis, James knows what agents want from the software.

James enjoys regularly going to watch the (almost) all conquering Arsenal as well as cycling & swimming.

Rui Wu - Systems Administrator

Rui has an MSc in Information Systems from the University of Liverpool. His role within the company includes optimizing and maintenance of the internal office network of the, Performing security testing and vulnerability analysis of new and existing systems as well as providing software and hardware support.

He is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese and his Interests outside of work are Football, movies and music.

Colin Chaffer - Business Account Manager

Colin has worked as an Estate Agent for fifteen years. During this time he worked both as an independent agent and for one of the corporate companies – Prudential Property Services. It was whilst with Prudential that Colin took on the role of Computer Trainer. Colin joined Resource Techniques in 1998 and has enjoyed various roles including training, business development and website management.

Peter Brunt - Business Account Manager

Peter has been in estate agency since 1979 and has experience of both the independent and corporate estate agency sectors. He also ran is own agency in Bristol prior to joining Resource Techniques in 2001. His role encompasses software installation, training, sales and account management. He has been the Chairman of The Bristol and Bath NAEA since 1995. Peters partner Jayne is also in estate agency and between them have five children.

His hobbies include tinkering with computers and DIY.

Andy Claridge - Business Account Manager (Web Services)

Andy assists both new and existing customers on suitable web products & services for their online business strategy, with a particular focus on individual web site solutions. His background is in H.R. estate agency and I.T. He worked for many years as an estate agent in Somerset, prior to joining Resource Techniques in 2005. He is currently studying for CIW certification.

In his spare time, Andy's interests include the country, DIY and ballroom dancing.

Dean Webb – Business Account Manager

Dean Webb is an experienced Account Manager who has a genuine passion for sales & Technology.

Dean’s career started in Estate Agency where he built up 10 successful years of experience, working around North London & Hertfordshire. His career took a change in direction a number of years ago when he accepted a job working for an international IT company as an Account Manager.

Luke Stanley – SEO Consultant

Luke Stanley joined Resource Techniques in February 2010 as a SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) Consultant, having studied Business and Internet Technology at the University of West England. Luke is responsible for technical strategy and ongoing development of both SEO and PPC (Pay Per Click) campaigns here at RT.

SEO is a fast, ever changing business with huge competition for the prime real estate of Google’s organic and paid search results.

Tony Shelton - Accountant

Tony is a chartered accountant, and joined Resource Techniques in October 2010. Most of his career to date has been spent working as a Financial Director in advertising and media companies. At RT he is responsible for migrating in-house all its accounting, credit control and payroll from external accountants, and thereafter to handle the accounting internally.

Outside of work Tony enjoys playing classical piano, singing in classical choirs and walking on Hampstead Heath.

Paolo De Luca - Project Manager

Paolo joined RT in 2008 after moving to London from Italy in 2006 to undertake new challenges in his career.
He is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Company's major .NET project, this includes business analysis and requirements gathering from Clients and users. He makes sure deadlines are met following agile methodologies, while helping to shape the direction of new products.

He has an addiction to COCOA (the framework) and in his spare time enjoys bulding iPhone Apps, eating sushi and being a mac geek.

Andrzej Czarkowski - Developer

Andrzej joined RT in September 2008. He has worked in IT industry in various areas since 2001, after graduating from Technical University in Czestochowa in Poland. Andrzej has a real interest in the .NET framework and especially likes programming in the C# language.

In his spare time he enjoys watching a good movie, travelling and reading comic books.

Majid Housseini - Developer

Majid has been developing software for RT since 2001. His main responsibilities are development of the core server software and integration engines.

Karoly Sefel - Developer

Karoly joined RT in March 2010 as a developer after moving to London from Hungary. He's curious and passionate about technology, currently learning about TDD, BDD and Agile.

In his spare time Karoly likes traveling and going to the cinema.

Farhan Khan - Developer

Farhan joined RT in November 2011 as a software developer specialising in .NET technologies. He holds a Bachelors in Software Engineering from Manchester University and a Masters in Business and IT from Aston University. He particularly enjoys working with the MVC framework.

In his spare time Farhan likes playing the guitar, travelling and exercising.

Jose Marin - Developer

Jose joined RT in November 2011 as a software developer after moving to London from Spain. He has worked in Malaga (Spain) since 2008 after graduating with a BSc in Computer Science at University of Granada. Jose enjoys programming in the C# language and learning new technologies.

In his spare time Jose likes travelling and playing sports, in particular basketball.

Leszek Domagala - Web Designer

Leszek joined RT in 2008. Leszek has been working in IT and the advertising industry for 10 years. He believes that sharp, good looking web sites with clear functionality is always the aim and that there is no better fun than creation.

After hours Leszek enjoys exploring the local area on his bicycle.

Bogna Czartoryska - Web Designer

Bogna joined RT in 2009. She has been working as a graphic designer for many years. She works with full enthusiasm for quality graphic design. She likes clean and simple design.

Her interests in her spare time include photography and sightseeing in London city centre.

Alex Lasek - Web Designer

Alex joined RT in August 2010 after working for a couple of years as a freelance web designer. She has a passion for learning new technologies and her top priority is to deliver innovative, eye-catching design solutions.

In her spare time she enjoys reading a good book, cooking and playing computer games.

Creative solutions for property industry professionals
