Gadget of the week - Dyson Air Multiplier
06 November, 2009 | Web design
Dyson have just unveiled a new Bladeless fan, right in time for a long cold winter!
The bladeless fan uses 89% less energy than a standard air conditioner and moves an outstanding 27 litres of air a second! Not only that but due to its design, the air flow is not interrupted and because it is bladeless children, and adults, will not harm themselves.
Currently this will set you back £199.99 but due to a very similar Japanese patent in 1981, Dyson are awaiting their patent to be granted with a new Coanda surface technology. Do not fear, estate agents and members of the public, can sign up to be notified as soon as it is ready.
Troy Stanley, CTO of Resource Techniques comments, 'Such a good idea. It could be an excellent present for friends and family that complain that their work does not have any air conditioning.'
Agents are able to look at the range of fans at the Dyson Website. Weirdly enough the 12 inch fan and the two 10 inch fans are exactly the same price. Do you know a reason why estate agents might want to pick the smaller size? Let us know on our Facebook fan page or our Twitter profile!
