Apple announces major unveiling on March 7th

The invitations have been sent out and we now officially have a date for Apple’s next big event.
What will Apple be unveiling?
Apple’s invitations are usually a dead giveaway for the purpose of the event. For example with the 4S/iOS announcement the invitation were of a screen with a notification attached to the “Messages” icon, hinting the announcement of the new iPhone.
The invitation in the case clearly shows a finger touching an iPad screen, with the tagline “We have something you really have to see. And touch”.
Apple’s next generation of tablet is said to include:
- A high-resolution retina display
- A quad-core processor
- Apple’s personal assistant, Siri
But the iPad 3 may not be the only new product Apple is announcing in next week’s big event.
According to sources, Apple may also be launching Apple TV.
We believe these rumours may have been prompted by the invitations tagline suggesting there is something to both see and touch which could be interpreted as different two products. With the image of a finger already touching an iPad screen, the “see” reference could be related to the Apple TV device. Although before you get your hopes up, many do believe that the “see” reference is related to the retina display.
Apple is expected to unveil the next-generation iPad on March 7 2012.
