3 Things to Do to Jump-Start Your 2013

With the lead up to Christmas it can be very tempting to take relax until the New Year but you should make the most of those last few quiet weeks of the year. This way you won’t fall behind, so get started:

Jump-start your 2013:

1. Plan ahead

Be prepared for what you are going to be doing in 2013. It’s easy to let your schedule get out of hand and letting your plans slip away. From now until the end of the year, devote some time to think about 2013. Plan and brainstorm your ideas and strategies for the New Year and set out a timescale.

This could be anything from a new marketing strategy to preparations for updating your website. Whatever it is, plan now and stick to it.

2. Be honest about your business

What do you love about your business and what do you want to change? Make 2013 the year you actually put into practice your thoughts and ideas about what you want your business to be. Be honest about where you are now and where you want to be by the end of the year.

3. Draw in the business

Many people may put off moving house with the lead up to Christmas. So now is the time to reach out. If you haven’t heard from potential clients in a while then maybe it’s time to give them a call.

If you aren’t comfortable with calling out of the blue, then why not email them first and set up a time to chat in the New Year. Make sure you have a reason for calling (e.g. a local property market update).

You could also reach out to people in your local community through Twitter or Facebook. This way if people are thinking about moving in the near future they are aware of your business.

Be prepared for 2013!
