The iWatch to be released this October

Apple fans all across the world were disappointed and surprised that Apple didn’t announce their iWatch alongside the Health App at WWDC 2014. However sources say we don’t have that much longer to wait as the wearable device is set for release this October.

Two sources have reported that the device will be announced and released this October, with a possible event within the same month for Apple to show off its brand new wearable technology.

Supposedly Apple are also partnering up with Nike for health services. These suspicions arose after Nike reportedly laid off a large number of its FuelBand team back in April, due to the fact that the company would team up with Apple for its own fitness device.

It is also thought that Apple is so confident in their new wearable device 'the iWatch' that they have planned to output 3-5 million units per month.

The device is expected to have a curved OLED display and is able to monitor and track health and lifestyle data, along with being able to receive alerts, text messages and many other things.

These rumours do seem quite likely to be true with the iOS 8’s Health app being released this autumn. It makes sense for Apple to pair up the two and release them alongside each other to make an even bigger splash onto the market.
