Apple Event Invitation: Does It Have Any Hidden Messages?

Apple have finally announced when the iPhone 8 will be unveiled and as expected the event will be held on the 12th September 2017.

This is likely to be Apple’s biggest product launch in years and will be held at the Steve Jobs Theater on the new Apple Park campus.

Of course, the Apple event invitation never directly unveils what’s lined up for the year’s big event, however they usually slip in some subtle hints.

This year’s invitation gives very little away and is simply a colourful (blue, orange, red and pink) Apple logo, with the title saying “Let’s meet at our place”.

The title refers to the new Steve Jobs Theater at the Apple headquarters which has been specifically built for Apple events.

There’s nothing that visually hints at a new iPhone or any other devices for that matter, but as it’s the 10 year anniversary of the iPhone, we expect to see the new iPhone 8 as well as the iPhone 7S and iPhone 7S Plus.

The new flagship iPhone is rumoured to cost a massive $1,000, which is why most experts believe Apple will release the iPhone 7S and 7S Plus, which will have the same design as the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus with a few upgrades to the components and performance but will be significantly cheaper than the iPhone 8.

The event will be held at 6pm next Tuesday (12th September), and if Apple follows tradition, the new iPhone will go on sale the following Friday 22nd September.
