Android 7.0 Nougat Released

| Technology

Google has finally released Android 7.0, called “Nougat”.

Android’s new version of its operating system comes with several updates and is said to be more productive, more secure and more battery-friendly than its predecessor Marshmallow.

The new features include allowing you to run two apps on the same screen at the same time, and enabling your device to handle more complex 3D graphics.

At this time, only Nexus handsets and tablets are able to download the update.

However, Google did mention that a new smartphone from LG will also have the new operating system already pre-installed.

As for all other devices, you will have to wait for your phone manufacturers to carry out their tests before making the software available.
