Both handsets went on sale last Friday in 10 countries and will reach 20 more by this Friday. Apple is expected to release the phone to 115 countries by the end of 2014.

Sales of these two devices are predicted to reach at least 70-80 million by the end of the year.

The Netflix of the book world

Amazon has launched the equivalent to Netflix for books called Kindle Unlimited.

The service that has been available in the US since July has now been released in the UK. The subscription service gives users access to a huge library of eBooks and audiobooks, great for avid readers.

A subscription to Kindle Unlimited will cost you £7.99 a month and will give users access to over 650,000 Kindle books and thousands of audiobooks.

Kindle Unlimited will be accessible through any device compatible with Kindle; this will include Kindle eReaders, tablets, smartphones, laptops and desktop computers.

Within the huge range of books many popular book titles are available, such as the Harry Potter series, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, the Hunger Games and Life of Pi.

It doesn’t look like the latest best sellers will be popping up on Amazon Kindle, just like Netflix doesn’t release the latest shows and films; however there is still a massive selection of books to choose from.
