iOS 10.3 is here

It’s time for all Apple users to update their devices once again as Apple has released iOS 10.3.

This week Apple rolled out iOS 10.3, as well as updates for macOS, tvOS and watchOS.

The update includes several new features that you may or may not have noticed on your iPhone.

It isn’t a major iOS update but it does include quite a few useful new features.

Here’s a list of iOS 10.3’s best new features:

Find My AirPods – iOS already includes the Find My iPhone app but iOS 10.3 brings an additional option ‘Find My AirPods’. This may be a useful new feature for those of you with AirPods; however you’ll need to be within Bluetooth range of your headphones for this feature to work.

When activated, your AirPods will make a loud noise so that you can locate them. If you lose them outside, the app will tell you their last location based on when you were last connected to them.

Siri Learns Cricket – Siri is now about to deliver cricket scores from the ICC and Indian Premier League. You can also ask Siri for stats of individual players or ask questions like, "When is the next cricket match?"

Weather – Apple Maps now has hourly weather forecast updates, and 3D Touch support for Apple Weather.

Night Shift – Night Shift comes to Mac devices to help you get a better nights sleep.

New Podcast Widget – Apple have released a new Podcast widget similar to the one available on Apple Music.

More Storage Space – A significant update that you aren’t likely to notice is a switch in the iOS file system from the outdated HFS+ system to the new Apple File System. This new update is likely to free up some storage space on your device.

Faster – Apple has made a few small adjustments to the animations that are run when you do things like open an app. This means your Apple devices may feel a little quicker than before.

To download the new iOS 10.3 update, simply go to Settings > General > Software Update and click to download (if you haven’t already). Be aware that due to the file system update, it may take a little longer than usual to download.
