Apple's next BIG announcement

Less than a month since Apple has revealed the iPhone 6 and the Apple Watch, rumour has it that Apple is getting ready to make some more big announcements.

Reports indicate that Apple is gearing up for an event on the 16th October and rumours suggest they will have a lot to talk about.

The iPad

The most exciting rumour is that Apple will be announcing the next generate iPad (or iPads). It isn’t clear what Apple will be releasing however many have predicted the release of the iPad Air 2, as well as a smaller iPad Mini and a 12.9inch iPad Plus.

The new iPad is likely to come in gold, include the Touch ID sensor, as well as the A8 and M8 co-processors (just like the iPhone 6). The new range of iPads is also expected to come with an anti-reflective screen coating.

OS X Yosemite

We are also expecting to find out a release date for OS X Yosemite, which may be released alongside a retina display iMac and the refreshed Mac Minis.

Unfortunately, these are all rumours and nothing has been confirmed yet but as we saw with the iPhone 6 event, many of the leaks were accurate (or at least have been getting more accurate). The rumours all seem to fit in with the timing, so we can expect to see at least a few of these new devices within the next few weeks.
