Facebooks personal human assistant

Facebook is constantly evolving and pushing their technology further every day, they have made an awful lot of changes to ensure they keep themselves at the top of the social media game including taking on cash transfers and messaging.

And they aren’t stopping there; it looks like Facebook will be pushing the social barrier even further after their acquisition of Oculus VR to social virtual reality and Mark Zuckerberg even stated that one day he believes users will be able to send messages and posts through telepathy.

Now, it looks like Facebook will be taking on the likes of Apple, Google and Microsoft with the release of their very own virtual assistant, which will be built directly into its Messaging app.

The virtual assistant that is being referred to as Moneypenny, will be taking on Siri, Cortana and Google Now quite soon according to reports, but what makes this virtual assistant any different?

Well it looks like this new Facebook service will use real people to answer your questions and carry out tasks, rather than sending queries to a computer for processing like the existing virtual assistant Siri, Cortana and Google Now do.

Now we aren’t exactly sure how this is going to work as very little information is out there regarding Facebooks new virtual assistant, although rumours suggest that it will only take on queries related to general search and shopping but it could potentially be expanded to offer a wider range of services.

Unfortunately, nothing is known about how big the Moneypenny team will be, if you will have to pay for this extra service or when this new service will be released, so I guess we will have to wait and see what Facebook have up their sleeves.

We will have to wait for more information on this mysterious assistant but we will keep you posted on all the latest rumours and gossip regarding Facebook’s virtual human assistant.
