Property Competition
An innovated way of
raising funds was portrayed in an ingenious way earlier this year
when property developer MIA Developments and Great Ormond Street
Hospital Children's Charity teamed up. A Block of apartments in
Myrdle Street.E1 central London worth more than £8 million,
which boasted designer kitchens, Jacuzzi baths, en-suites to master
bedrooms and hard wood floors completing the look, was the prize in
a draw.
The Lucky winner was to receive 11 serviced apartments known as
York House. To enter one had to log on to winalondonpad.com and by
buying a £60 MP4 player complete with full warranty, then was
presented with three questions to answer, one of which was - which
city was to host the 2012 Olympic Games? This draw was limited to
200,00 entrants only. The website claimed the draw was "a joint
innovated approach to fundraising during hard times".
