Expert Analyst says “Facebook will disappear in 5 to 8 years”

Hard to believe a world without Facebook but after its stocks dipped Analysts predict Facebook will disappear like Yahoo and MySpace within 5 to 8 years.

Obviously Yahoo and MySpace are still around and in fact still profitable businesses however they are a fraction of what they were worth at their peaks in 2000 (Yahoo) and 2007 (MySpace).

The analysts predict that Facebook will follow suit and become less popular as the next generation of Internet companies sweep in.

So what do they think the next generation of Internet Companies will be?

“The next generation is all about Mobile”

Facebook’s IPO filing revealed that the company had more than 425 million monthly active mobile users during December 2011, which is around half the people who are on Facebook worldwide. Very impressive figures however Facebook aren’t making any money at this point through Mobile...

It’s clear to see Facebook are aiming to improve their mobile usage by acquiring Instagram but the transformation from being a huge website to mobile may prove difficult especially to make monetize it.   

These predictions for the end of Facebook come only weeks after the Social giant’s troubled IPO, with stock dropping down to as low as $25.52 which doesn’t seem too bad yet the initial offering price was $38 a share...
