Expert Analyst says “Facebook will disappear in 5 to 8
years”
Hard to believe a world without Facebook but after its stocks
dipped Analysts predict Facebook will disappear like Yahoo and
MySpace within 5 to 8 years.
Obviously Yahoo and MySpace are still around and in fact still
profitable businesses however they are a fraction of what they were
worth at their peaks in 2000 (Yahoo) and 2007 (MySpace).
The analysts predict that Facebook will follow suit and become
less popular as the next generation of Internet companies sweep
in.
So what do they think the next generation of Internet
Companies will be?
“The next generation is all about
Mobile”
Facebook’s IPO filing revealed that the company had more
than 425 million monthly active mobile users during December 2011,
which is around half the people who are on Facebook worldwide. Very
impressive figures however Facebook aren’t making any money
at this point through Mobile...
It’s clear to see Facebook are aiming to improve their
mobile usage by acquiring Instagram but the transformation from
being a huge website to mobile may prove difficult especially to
make monetize it.
These predictions for the end of Facebook come only weeks after
the Social giant’s troubled IPO, with stock dropping down to
as low as $25.52 which doesn’t seem too bad yet the initial
offering price was $38 a share...
