Estate Agents can't direct the wind, but you can adjust your social
networking
Facebook and Twitter for
Estate Agents is now standard practice for modern online strategy.
Facebook now has over 23 Million users in the UK and Twitter has
just surpassed 100 million users world-wide, with
such high figures the public expectation for every business to use
social networking has massively increased.
Whilst many Estate Agents have still not joined social
networking to promote the quality of their services to the public
online, it is the Estate Agents that watch for the latest craze,
technology or social network that benefit most. With a keen ear to
the ground these 'early adopters' are able to boost public
relationships and establish themselves as an Estate Agent operating
in a modern society.
This only works if Estate Agents have a genuine interest in
customer engagement, and with Estate Agents dealing people almost
every single minute or second of the day - it should easily be a
breeze. All Estate Agents have to do is show that they have
authentic concern with the people that they meet and the area in
which they cover.
Why not try considering a new GPS mobile social network called
Foursquare? Is it a valuable tool for modern Estate Agents and can
it be used to promote the area you cover whilst establishing
yourself as a local expert in the property market?
Troy Stanley, CTO of Resource techniques
comments, 'Social networking websites are not just a benchmark for
businesses, Estate Agents can be judged purely by not having an
online presence.
'Many Estate Agents also do not realise the benefits of linking
social networking to your Estate Agent website. Contact Resource Techniques for more information on how
this can help.'
